OxbTutors.co.uk is just one of many writing services out there, and they look good on paper. They offer expert writers at a good price, but can you really expect that? Take a look at this review to find out.

Writers

At time of writing, there are just under 50 writers on staff, 3 of whom are from the UK. There are 10 writers with Masters degrees, and 2 with PhDs. The number of writers with higher level degrees is surprising, as you would expect them to have more experts on their staff. If you’re ordering from them expecting a real expert to write for you, you may be unpleasantly surprised.

Company trust

Any service you order from should be able to show you exactly what they do with your data. Can you trust them to have your best interests at heart? On the OxbTutors site, we couldn’t find a privacy policy, something that will tell you exactly how your data is used. There were no trust signals, such as a physical address, either. These are warning signs and you should pay attention to them. If you don’t know how your data will be used, that is a serious concern.

Quality

When you order an essay here, are you going to get what you pay for? We’ve been talking to students who have used the service in the past, to see what they had to say.
Many weren’t impressed with what they received. The site offers primarily proofreading and editing services, so you would expect these jobs to be done thoroughly. However, many students got essays back that were still full of errors that should have been picked up.

You’ll obviously want to know how much the services are here. On the site though, there’s no price calculator. That means we can’t get the price of a typical essay for you. If you want a price, you’ll have to get in touch yourself. If you’re worried about giving out your personal data, you won’t want to do that. There’s also no discounts for first time customers, or any additional services to buy.

The customer service team is available whenever you need them, so you can get in touch if you have questions about your order. They can be contacted via phone, email, or live chat. Many customers have found that the team isn’t actually based in the UK, so there is a language barrier you’ll have to surmount if you need to get help.

Should you place an order with Oxb Tutors when you need essay help? We can’t say you should, because the level of service they offer wasn’t up to standard. What was very concerning was the lack of information about your data usage, so you don’t know how safe you are when you order with them.
